Community Wellness Facilitator - Meet Larissa

​

The Community Wellness Facilitator helps individuals navigate systems

of support, connect with available resources, and facilitates community

programs that promote wellness and connection.

Support may include:

• Navigating government and community programs and services

• Connecting individuals with financial, food, housing, and other instrumental supports

• Providing mental health referrals and connections to counselling services

• Supporting individuals in understanding and completing applications for programs such as Disability Income Assistance (AISH/ADAP), Income Support, Disability Supports, Senior Specific Services and more.

The Community Wellness Facilitator also supports community wellness and connection. If you have an idea, program, workshop, or initiative that could contribute to the well-being of our community, the Community Wellness Facilitator is a person to connect with. This role works alongside community members and organizations to identify local needs, explore opportunities, and help turn ideas into meaningful community programming.
